It comes as her stalker’s estranged wife has spoken out about the frightening darkness she said lurked inside him.

Julia Carwyle said she was forced to request a restraining order against Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, who is being held in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in LA.

The 48-year-old from Mississippi was arrested at Aniston’s $21million Bel-Air home on May 5 after he rammed into the gate with his car while she was inside.

Aniston’s move to Montecito is a welcome escape from Los Angeles following the terrifying invasion while she was in the house.

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Jen is happy to have a safe place to run to where she can let her hair down.

‘Though she loves Los Angeles because it is where she grew up, she is craving more of a country setting these days away from the noise.’

Other friends have also said they would be happy to travel out to help make the renovation feel more homely, including Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman.

A friend close to Aniston said the attack on her Bel Air home ‘did a number’ on her and left her ‘flipping out’.

The source said: ‘It’s a bad feeling knowing someone wants to break into your sanctuary. It’s such a shame that happened.’

Aniston bought the Montecito mansion from Oprah Winfrey in September 2022 in an off-market deal for $14.8million.

The 4,320-square-foot home, built in 1999, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There’s also a pool house, cabana, and even a guesthouse.

The property’s exterior has been altered as well, notably with the replacement of blue windows by modern, white-framed designs.

The upper-level balconies have also been renovated, now featuring dark metal railings.

While renovations are still ongoing, outdoor furniture has been arranged on both the balconies and the raised patio overlooking the pool.

The home has lots of privacy on its heavily wooded premises, grassy lawns and a enough parking to easily accommodate fifteen cars.

It’s not the only home Aniston owns – she also has the $20.97million mansion in Bel Air which came under attack earlier this month.

Carwyle is charged with one count each of felony stalking and felony vandalism and also faces an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said he is accused of repeatedly harassing Aniston between March 1, 2023, and May 5, 2025 – sending her ‘unwanted social media, voicemail and email messages.’

The alleged harassment ‘culminated when he allegedly crashed his vehicle through her front gate, causing substantial damage, and stopped in her driveway.’

Carwyle’s estranged wife opened up about her marriage to the father-of-one, who has an adult daughter from a previous relationship.

Julia said she walked out on him, adding: ‘He’s put me through literal hell. It took a toll on me for the past four years in every aspect – it’s not been good.

‘I’ve got a restraining order on him since we split up. He’s been stalking me the same way [as Aniston] and he’s not a very good person.’

According to Julia, she was unaware of her husband’s apparent obsession with the beloved TV and movie star.

The couple did not watch a lot of television while together, and Aniston didn’t come up in conversation, she said.

‘Jimmy had a secret life I knew nothing about,’ said Julia. ‘We never even watched her. The whole time we’ve been together he never went on about her.’

Carwyle, she added, is an enthusiastic outdoorsman. ‘This guy likes to hunt and fish,’ she said. ‘We’re country folks.’ Julia believes he is suffering from a mental illness.

She revealed an ‘awful’ history with drugs, including marijuana and alcohol, but says she doesn’t know ‘if he’s doing anything right now.’

Addiction, she added, ‘can happen so quick and it doesn’t discriminate.’ She has ‘no idea’ why Carwyle ‘flipped.’

‘All l I know is it had to be the drugs, but I’ve never known any drug to do any person that way.

‘Because if you’re sick in the head, you don’t have to have a drug to bring it up. A drug is going to bring it out of you, but you’re going to be sick in the head.’

She describes having ‘problems’ in her relationship with Carwyle and that he was acting ‘crazy.’

Regarding the restraining order, she said he was annoyed by the couple’s separation.

‘It probably triggered him when he and I split up,’ she said. ‘He was getting aggravated – mad at me… It really messed him up mentally.’

Carwyle visited LA a total of three times to try to meet Aniston, Julia claims. On the two previous trips, she adds, ‘he said he couldn’t find her.’

She last saw him in September on the day he headed to California. She previously told the Daily Mail, ‘He was going there because he was going to meet up with Jennifer. He was going to go see her.

‘He actually thought he was going to meet Jennifer,’ Julia said. ‘I guess he was speaking with her. He had the impression that Jennifer Aniston and he were going to talk and meet.

‘So naturally he’s doing what anybody would do – he went across the country.

‘He thought ‘Maybe she’s just going to meet a guy… to take a chance,’ she added. ‘That’s the way he was thinking.’

In her latest comments to the Daily Mail, Julia revealed Carwyle had been communicating on Facebook with someone he believed was Aniston.

‘He’s been misled because if that’s what’s going on, this person has messed with his head.’

Carwyle allegedly made alarming posts online which mentioned Aniston but they have since been deleted.

Several reportedly referred to Aniston as his ‘bride,’ including one posted in October, allegedly referring to the actress as ‘Jennifer Aniston Carwyle.’

Another post allegedly said that he and Aniston would be ‘mended together’ and referenced Adam and Eve.

Julia said he would often refer to individuals as characters from the Bible and he would call her ‘Jezebel.’

Julia said her family is ‘really having a hard time’ following the stalking charges against her errant husband.

She calls the shocking drama surrounding Carwyle as ’embarrassing’ but still expresses compassion for him.

He has been accused of repeatedly sending Jennifer unwanted email, social media messages and voicemail since 2023

‘Jimmy got saved and he has not been the same since he asked Jesus into his life,’ said Julia.

‘He’s not Jimmy right now. He’s not the same person. This isn’t the Jimmy I know. It’s not the man I met. He did not do all of this before we married.

‘I don’t know what’s happened to him – but he’s a completely different person than I thought he was.

‘I always tell Jimmy, everything’s going to work out. It may not be the way we want it to be, but the right thing, if you’re doing the right thing with your whole heart, then everything’s going to be in your favor. God will work in your favor.’

The Aniston case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld of the DA’s Stalking and Threat Assessment Team.

During Carwyle’s May 8 arraignment, Judge Keith Schwartz expressed doubt that Carwyle could actually comprehend what was being discussed in court when a prosecutor requested that the defendant be ordered not to get near Aniston.

A stay away order was granted and his attorney, Deputy Public Defender Toral Malik, said, ‘I don’t believe him staying away from Ms. Aniston will be an issue at this time.’

Carwyle was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Aniston’s home.

His next court appearance is scheduled for May 22 at the Hollywood mental health division of Los Angeles Superior Court. If convicted, he faces three years in prison.
